Souvenir Visionaire
Firak Di Bello
A single performance piece by Firak Di Bello, in which he combines butoh dance with fashion and architecture.
The 20-minute work in progress in which he questioned whether humanity could progress beyond its current state. The piece poses the question through visual mysticism and the esoteric absurd.
He worked together with young performers as well as with older people; not only do their physical limitations lead them to a butoh-slowness but also because of their depth of life experience.
The piece was shown at Camden People's Theatre for two nights.
