Daiwa Resource Packs

The Daiwa Resource Packs were developed as part of the Japan Primary Initiatives Project undertaken as a joint venture between a consortium of staff from King Alfred's College, Winchester, Derbyshire Education Authority Japanese Resource Centre and Homerton College, Cambridge. The work was made possible with the help of a grant from the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation.

Details of the packs available are given below. Each pack consists of teachers' notes, pupil information and a range of activities. Some packs include slide, OHP and audio or video cassette materials. The packs are designed to be used independently of one another, but may also be linked for use as part of a broader Japan topic.

The loaned resource packs are sent either by first class or parcel post, depending on which is cheaper. The cost per pack varies between £1.00 to £3.50. One or two Daiwa packs can be sent together with a Japan Activity Chest without affecting the normal Chest postage cost.

*VAT is now added onto the cost of the postage
