Nagoyajo

The original Nagoya castle was built in 1525 but was burnt down in an air raid in 1945. The restoration of the castle was completed in 1959 with replicas of paintings and artifacts in place of those that were not rescued. The modern version of the castle now has air-conditioning and lifts for tourists' comfort.
