Toyama

The prefecture of Toyama is located north of Tokyo in the Chu-bu region of the main island Honshu. The prefecture capital, Toyama city, was nearly completely destroyed by air raids during the WWII. The city now serves as one of the most industrial sites in Japan having cheap electricity due to its location by the coast.
