Sweatdrop Studios is a UK-based independent publishing group creating original manga-styled comics. With over eighty titles including large scale anthologies, they have a variety of styles and subject matter for all readers. The group has 20 members, many of whom are professional illustrators and artists with numerous manga accolades/awards and published works.
Members include Hayden Scott-Baron (author of Digital Manga Techniques, Manga Clip Art), Laura Watton (NEO Magazine Manga Competition winner), Emma Vieceli (Artist for Manga Shakespeare: Hamlet, Tokyopop RSOM-Rising Stars of Manga runner up), Sonia Leong (Artist for Manga Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet, Tokyopop RSOM winner), Selina Dean (Best New Manga contributor, Tokyopop RSOM winner), Morag Lewis (International Manga and Anime Festival -IMAF- competition winner, Tokyopop RSOM runner up) and Joanna Zhou (Best New Manga contributor, Tokyopop RSOM runner up).
Sweatdrop Studios and its members offer a range of professional services for clients interested in the anime/manga style. They are experienced in requests to:
- Create bespoke illustrations and artwork
- Create or collaborate on manga, comics and sequential art
- Write instructional books and guides on creating manga
- Deliver workshops and presentations on manga
